The D-Lite was designed to allow users of Fox (and other brands) bite alarms with a power out to use the range of light up bobbins made by Delkim (r).
To use, you should always plug your bobbin into the adapter first, then plug into your bite alarms power out socket, if you fail to do this you could introduce unnecessary strain on the alarms jack socket.
Once fitted, the adapter should give the right “throw” to keep the bobbin lead at the right angle to still give good indication, if your alarm offers “nite lite” or similar features, they should still be repeated on the bobbin.
The current list of alarms this has been tested with is as follows, Micron RX+, Micron MX (new type), Mini Micron (new type), Mini Micron X, Micron NTXR, Micron NXR, Micron NX, Micron N, Micron MXR+, Micron MR+, Micron MX+, Micron EOS-R, Micron EOS-X, it also works on the Micron RX, Micron SX, Micron DXR, Micron LXR, Micron ST (later model) but on these heads it will sit under the alarm instead of the rear but can be aligned to still give the right “throw”. It was tested on the Wolf Icon range and works from the “smart port”.
Conversely, they can also be used on the Delkim (r) range from the Plus series to the current D series to allow you to use Fox illuminated bobbins and swingers too, they would need to fitted along with a buzzer spacer though as the Fox swinger/hanger “tags” would obscure the underside centre port of the Delkim(r).
