TB Special Black Edition ‘S’ Range rods have black-on-black cosmetics, the silver tipping’s in front of the reel seat and butt grip retains the ‘S’ Range identity. An anti-frap tip guide is also fitted to aid casting. The reel seat have black hoods, collars and butt cap are turned from black Delrin and completes the Black Edition concept.
Free Spirit ‘S’ Range has in its ranks some of the most iconic classic carp rods and are regarded as the ‘Go To’ rods for performance and reliability.
This pioneering rod range were first to use low resin carbon with a perdurable blank finish created without varnish or lacquer, this finish is lifelong and is easily restorable to a brand new look for the life of the rod. The low resin carbon cloth is far more resistant to softening of the action with age.
All models (except the XS’ive) have a firm progressive action that gives them all-rounder qualities. The XS’ive is the distance rod of the range and has a faster taper than the rest of the range.
