Scope OPS Rod Skins have been developed as a complete modular system for total flexibility and ultimate protection.
All Scope OPS Rod Skins (except 6ft Utility) and all Stink Bags feature the Velcro grab patches and low profile buckles which allow any combination and any number of skins to be instantly connected together. So a 2 rod skin is no longer limited to 2 extra rods, you can connect 2+2 fishing rods, 1 spod rod, 1 marker rod and as many Stink Bags as you like. Add and remove types of rods or numbers of nets in Stink Bags as required. The positioning of the connections means even 9ft and 10ft rod skins can also be carried together perfectly.
Net pockets have been replaced with the superior and infinitely more versatile Stink Bag system. Reel pouches have been generously enlarged to accommodate the largest big pit reels and accommodate variations in handle lengths, with the top of the skin also shaped to accept 50mm rings with ease.
Zips on the skins have been shortened to allow butts to be tucked in and secured to prevent skins falling away or rods sliding out whilst adding other rods during pack down.
Shoulder straps pads are segmented into 3 parts to follow your body more comfortably, Hypalon outer, anti crush foam inner and neoprene reverse, and all running on a unique and premium Lock Load webbing not just a standard webbing material.
Combined with the unique Velcro Grab patches and buckles that allow multiple 1 rod and 2 rod skins to be instantly connected along with Stink Bags in any configuration it’s the easiest and most durable rod skin system yet.
The base pouch and compression webbings allow retainers, storm poles, throwing sticks or even compact brollies to be carried externally.
NOTE: Due to the rigidity of Ceramic ring liners Scope OPS Hi Protect Skins are recommended to safeguard Scope OPS CG and Scope CG Ceramic Guide rod models.
