Unless your using small reels or folding your handles the 3 rod version is too narrow and your reels are only going to cause problems

Sizes were chosen by Century in conjunction with anglers/shops with the sizes finally settled on based on majority preference. Separate custom width bars can be made and ordered from the shop if you would like, as occasional anglers ask for a wider bar and some even ask for a narrower bar.
